Ethanol

Diesel
Just like gasoline, diesel also goes through a refining process before it is put to use. Again, at the refinery, crude oil is heated to temperatures between 200°C to 350°C and then distilled into diesel fuel. It is more efficient than gasoline and also emits fewer greenhouse gases. Diesel fuel is used in many large and industrial trucks.

Biodiesel
This form of diesel fuel is domestically produced. It is also a renewable and clean-burning alternative to regular diesel. It is preferred by many due to its ability to lower hydrocarbon emissions by up to 67%. However, it is slightly more expensive than petroleum diesel. It comes with glycerol removed, which means adding methanol and lye. It makes the mixtures less viscous and more energy-driven. Due to this nature, the fuel can be used in vehicles year-round.

Natural gas
Natural gas is mainly made up of methane. It is compressed in its gas form as CNG for automobiles. It is regarded as more fuel-efficient when compared to gasoline. Furthermore, natural gas also has a higher octane rating than other alternatives, allowing for higher combustion efficiency and engine compression.
